The Constitution
Article 6: General Meeting: EGM
 
5.1 An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Alumni shall be convened:
5.1.1 whenever the Executive Committee deems it desirable, or
5.1.2 at the joint request of not less than one-fifth (1/5) of Ordinary Members, stating the objects and reasons for such meeting;
5.2 An Extraordinary General Meeting requisitioned by the Ordinary members shall be convened for a date within thirty (30) days of the receipt of such requisition;
5.3 Notice and agenda for an Extraordinary General Meeting shall be forwarded by the Secretary to all members at least fourteen days (14) before the date fixed for the meeting.
5.4 The provisions of Article VI Clause 1 and 2 regarding the quorum and postponement of meetings shall apply also to Extraordinary General Meeting but with the provision that if no quorum is present after half an hour from the time appointed for the postponement of the Extraordinary General Meeting requisitioned by the Ordinary members under Clause 5.1.1 and 5.1.2 of this Article, the meeting shall be cancelled and no meeting shall be requisitioned for the same purpose until after the lapse of at least six (6) months from the date thereof.
