The Constitution
Article 6: General Meeting: AGM
 
1. The supreme authority of the Alumni shall be vested in the Executive Committee. There shall be at least two third of the total number of the Executive Committee shall be present at the commencement of an Annual General Meeting (AGM) before it can proceed.
2. In the event of the required number of the Executive Committee not present half an hour after the time appointed for the Annual General Meeting, the meeting shall be postponed to a date (not later than 30 days) to be decided by the Executive Committee; and if a quorum is not present half an hour after the time appointed for the postponed meeting, the Executive Committee present shall have the power to proceed with the business of the day but they shall not have the power to alter the Constitution of the Alumni and make decisions affecting the membership.
3. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) shall be held as soon as possible at the end of the financial year of International Medical University at a date, time and place determined by the Executive Committee. The business of the Annual General Meeting shall be:
3.1 To receive and adopt the Annual Report the Executive Committee,
3.2 To receive and adopt the audited Financial Report of the Treasurer,
3.3 To elect a new Executive Committee if the term of service expires
3.4 To elect a new Auditor(s)
3.5 To discuss matters of general interests tabled at the meeting.
4. The notification the Annual General Meeting shall be given to all members not less than fourteen (14) days before the Meeting. Such notification shall be conducted via members’ email addresses and members’ email mailing lists or displayed prominently at the registered address or at place of meeting of the Alumni;
