IMU Cares Travel Grant
The IMU Cares Travel Grant aims to sponsor IMU students, staff and alumni members to participate in disaster relief missions either in Malaysia or overseas. The grant is limited to transportation only.
Application Procedure
The applicant must submit the following supporting documents:

The organizing body must be an organization that has been registered with the Registrar of Society of Malaysia or is a recognized international body. Not withstanding the above, the organization should not be linked to any religious or political organization/institution. |

Amount of Grant
The amount of the grant would be 50% of the travel fare incurred or a maximum of RM1000. The lesser amount will be considered. Appropriate claims include:

Mileage claims (RM0.70 per km and toll receipt) |
Other Information

A maximum of two persons will be approved per mission. |

Forms must be submitted two months before the date of travel. |
 |
All decisions made are final. Appeals will not be entertained. |

The grant will be disbursed upon production of receipts after returning from the disaster relief mission. |
Completion of Mission and Exit Report
Recipients must submit the following to the Student Affairs Department within 1 month of returning from the disaster relief mission:

Letter from Organization confirming completion of mission |
 |
A report about the mission with accompanying photographs (minimum of 3 photographs) |
 |
The applicant may be required to give a presentation at IMU. |
