University Newsletter
An alumni newsletter featuring all the latest developments in IMU and Alumni news will be sent to your doorstep biannually.

Insurance
Alumni who plan to undertake elective studies in Malaysia are entitled to reduced premiums with Hong Leong Assurance Bhd for:

	Group Personal Liability
	Group Personal Accident
	Group Hospitalization and Surgical

Library and IT Services
Alumni Association members are entitled to use the library and IT facilities in all 3 campuses. A refundable caution deposit of RM400 is required. Registration allows members to:

	Gain access to reference stock
	Access the enquiry service
	Borrow and renew items via telephone
	Obtain online access to E-resource journals
	Utilize the IT network

Application forms

IMU Travel Grant
The university is encouraging its students to play an active role at a global level. The IMU Cares Travel Grant for Relief Missions was set up to subsidize students, staff and alumni members to participate in relief missions either in Malaysia or Overseas. A maximum sum of RM 1000 per person or RM2000 per group will be awarded to appropriate applications.

Reunions and Events
The Alumni is dedicated to keeping in touch with all their alumni students and the use of the Alumni database assists in keeping in touch. We help our graduates network by:

	Online discussion forums
	The conduction of online polls

Continuing Professional Development
To encourage life-long learning, the University hosts CPE and CME courses and programs. Alumni members are entitled to a 30% discount on course fees.

Electronic requests for Academic Transcripts
All requests for transcripts can be made via an online application form.

Rental of University Facilities
A 20% discount on room rental and equipment hire is offered to all alumni members. Facilities for rental include:

	Meeting rooms
	Classrooms
	Lecture Theatres
	Support Services
	Projectors
	Stage Lighting
	PA systems
	Other equipment

Support services such as Helpdesk support and Cleaning are chargeable at the full rate.

Alumni members can use ECA facilities, such as the gymnasium and dance studio, for a small fee.
