Background
In conjunction with IMU's 15th year Anniversary, IMU is launching the Alumni Achievement Award for noteworthy achievements. This award has a two-fold purpose:

1.	To give recognition to the achievements and services of exemplary IMU alumni.
2.	To reflect credit on IMU by its recognition of its alumni's accomplishments.

Criteria for Consideration
We are looking for nominations of fellow alumni who have made significant achievements in any of the following categories:

1.	Scholastic Achievement
2.	Professional Achievement
3.	Contribution to Society/Community
4.	Personal Achievement
5.	Contribution to IMU

There is no set timeframe from the date of graduation and IMU reserves the right not to grant the award if no quality candidates are nominated.

The prize will be in the form of a medal and scroll, which will be presented during the convocation ceremony in August 2007.

Nominations are only accepted from IMU alumni and IMU staff only.

Supporting documentation such as Curriculum Vitae or lists of referees should be sent to Charmaine_khoo@imu.edu.my

The deadline for nominations will be 1st May 2007.
